A Bit of Italian Renaissance
musical/dance performace accompanied by singing
Concert of secular Renaissance music and singing at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries with dance entrances, conceived as a small period celebration at a noble court with period instruments, props, costumes. The musicians perform pieces from C. Monteverdi, G. Caccini, G. Fresobaldi and others, the dances were reconstructed from the collections of dancing masters F. Caroso and C. Negri.
